I was really moved by this kid, Logan. I never thought a kid like him could utter the words he said. Poor me, I don't even spare some time to pray and go to the church and worship Him. Guess, Logan's a wakeup call for me..
#$%$#%$%$$#%$$%$%^!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tignan ko lang kung di ka mapamura sa katatawa sa video na to hahahaha!! I literally laughed my ass off!! haha!! What a way to start a day! hehe!!
The earth is warm next to my ear Insect noise is all that I hear A magic trick makes the world disappear The skies are dark, they're dark but they're clear
A distant motorcade and suddenly there's joy The snow and ticker tape blurs all my senses numb It's like the finish line where everything just ends The crack of radios seems close enough to touch
Cold water, cleaning my wounds A sad parade, with a single balloon I'm done with this, I'm counting to ten Bluest seas, running to them
I feel like I am watching everything from space And in a minute I'll hear my name and I'll wake I think the finish line's a good place we could start Take a deep breath, take in all that you could want
Dahil busy ako, here's a "feel-good" video muna, with AMBER PACIFIC's "IF I FALL" on the background. Well, the song's a little bit emo, but I don't know I just feel good when I hear the song. Hehe!! :D
This is for the ones who believes their lives won't change Hoping then someday things will meant and be the same And this is for the ones who have lost it all and all that's left to gain Is a simple reminder that the things that were blind to slip away...
How can I say... Say I'll be okay...
And if I fall through these days that go by without cause Just a painful mistake has left me here on my own And if I fall through these nights I can't seem to go on Just a sign that you're with me gives me the strength to hold on
Now that the lines been broken I'm too afraid to just look back The pages have left an empty space You were all I had Why does it have to be this way These things they'll never change Still I'm left with knowing, content and happy, this is all I need...
And if I fall through these days that go by without cause Just a painful mistake has left me here on my own And if I fall through these nights I can't seem to go on Just a sign that you're with me gives me the strength to hold on
And if I fall through these days that go by without cause Just a painful mistake has left me here on my own And if I fall through these nights I can't seem to go on Just a sign that you're with me gives me the strength to hold on...
Anyone of you watch the series CHUCK? Chuck is an action-comedy series about an average computer whiz who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend now working in the CIA. The message embeds the only remaining copy of the world's greatest spy secrets into Chuck's brain.
Well, actually I am not a fan of this series and I've watched this only a couple of times. But when I am searching for the song "Crazy for this girl" by Life House on Youtube I found the video embedded below. After watching this video, I felt I need to get a copy of all the seasons of this series. Thanks there are available torrents for it!! Wohoo!!
The following is the transcript of the conversation between Sarah and Chuck, shown at the last minutes of the video.
Chuck Bartowski: Sarah, I'm not going to move in with you... Because I can't... And you know why I can't... I'm crazy about you. And I always have been. Having a fake relationship, that's one thing. But living together is... I mean everyday and being around each other and -and that's why i can't do it. I hope you understand. Sarah Walker: I do. Chuck Bartowski:Thank you. [Starts to leave then stops]
Chuck Bartowski:Oh and uh just so you know, I am going to get this thing out of my head, one day. I will! And when I do, I'm going to live the life I want with the girl I love. Because I'm not going to let this thing rob me of that. I won't!
* I want to write my thoughts about the video, more particularly about the soundtrack and the conversation between Chuck and Sarah but I don't think I'm ready to blurt out whatever I am feeling right now here.. I might have a heart attack, if I did. So give this one to me! Okay?.. In time, I'll tell you my story..
By the way, you might have noticed that most of my current posts are youtube videos and that I haven't posted anything with substance and really well-thought of. Sorry guys, law school has been too demanding and so my creative will has gone down to zero. I feel like my brain's loaded by provisions of law and court cases. So please bear with my posts, and thanks to those who continue to appreciate them. ☻☻☻
This song's about... talkin to the person you haven't even met yet. Maybe they're rollin' around in the hay with someone else, but they're not as good as you'll be... you just have to wait your turn. She's out there, he's out there, they're just learning what to contrast you against.
Stay at home alone on a Friday Flat on my floor looking back On old love Or lack thereof After all the crushes have faded And all my wishful thinking was wrong I'm jaded I hate it
I'm tired of being alone So hurry up and get here So tired of being alone So hurry up and get here Get here..
Searching all my days just to find you Not sure who I'm looking for I'll know it When I see you Till then, I'll hide in my bedroom Just staying up all night just to write A love song for no one
I'm tired of being alone So hurry up and get here I'm so tired of being alone So hurry up and get here
I could have met you in a sandbox I could have passed you on the sidewalk Could I have missed my chance And watched you walk away? Oh no away yadadadada dadadada dadada..
I could have met you in a sandbox I could have passed you on the sidewalk Could I have missed my chance And watched you walk away?
I'm tired of being alone So hurry up and get here So tired of being alone So hurry up and get here You'll be so good You'll be so good for me Ohh I know you'll be so good for me For me
Heard the song "Love Song for No One" in my mp3 player and can't stop singing . Really love the way he sings and the messages of his songs, especially this one. The lyrics really hit me, at this very moment when I need someone.
I recalled that John Mayer has a really awesome video of it in one of his concerts so I checked my files, lucky I still have it. This is from John Mayer's "Any Given Thursday" Concert. The video I posted is from YOUTUBE, but I have a copy,if you want, just leave me a message. I also found in my files this transcript of John Mayer's amazing intro to the song Love Song for No one.The Song + this introductory speech or whatever you might call it= EPIC!
John Mayer: So I was thinkin' about relationships and about how it pertains to songs about relationships, And uh, I was trying to think, well it occurred to me that the key, I figured out the key to a relationship and how to make it work.
Check it out, this is, this is, a tip from your uncle John, check it out. When you first meet somebody, you find out they like you, first of all, a friend of a friend of theirs say, he or she really really likes you, and it kills you, floors you, sends you to the ground, you've got to pick yourself up off the ground; then you get their phone number and you call them up, right, and you say "Yeah, that's a really great phone conversation, can I see you some time?" and then they say this, they say, "I'd like that." Nothing feels better than "I'd like that".
So now, your blood pressures' goin, you're six feet off the ground, you can't sleep, because of "I'd like that". So then you hang out for a while, and you call and you talk on the phone all the time, and then you drop the bomb, what feels like the bomb, you say, "You know what, I've been thinkin about you a lot." And she goes, "Ahhhhhhh!" And you go "What happened?" and she goes, "I'm sorry, I just, I just, I just, that's, I've been thinking about you too." Bam. Higher into the sky. But now "I'd like that." Tch. Done. Now you're up to "I'm thinkin about you."
Then however number of months pass, it makes you feel comfortable saying it, you say "I gotta tell you something." They go "What?", you go "I'm in love with you." And nothing in the world sounds better than "I'm in love with you." And then maybe she starts crying, or maybe he goes "*gasp*". And all the sudden you're like "I'm in." But now what doesn't work?; "I'd like that." and "I've been thinkin about you." Now we're at "I'm in love with you." Then maybe some day it'll move up to "I love you." Fast forward, now you're like "I love you a lot; I love you more than anything in life." Now "I love you." doesn't work. It's a threshold that keeps movin up. Fast forward, like six months, six weeks, whatever the case may be, now you're on like, "I want to marry you." "I want to impregnate you with my love." "I wanna, I wanna just send my love to you." "Damn it, words don't work anymore." And then you say this line, and you know, you know you've used this line before, "I just wish they'd put a new word in the dictionary bigger than love because love just doesn't describe what I feel."And so now he or she starts askin, "Do you love me?" and you start goin, "Of course I love you." "Well say it." And then it becomes "Say it twice." And it goes "Say it three times." And then, you cross a really interesting point, where all the sudden it becomes "I hate you, I hate you." And you go, "Oh my god she hates me." And now it's like "I hate you more than anything." And then it's like "We're over." And then they go "No we're not." And you go "Yes we are." Now the words completely do not work at all, you're left with nothing. You're throwing punches under water. You're done. You know what the moral of that story is, if there is one. Never, ever, ever, ever underestimate the power of "I'd like that." [laughs]
"And I feel the way I feel because I need you all the time And I know the things you know but that’s just not enough to make you mine And I won’t do anything that it might compromise this time so I’ll just sit and hold my breath only that’s not enough to make you mine.."
Haayzzz... :(
Here's the full lyrics...
Sometimes it's not that time For things I cannot hear For words I cannot feel The way you want to go It makes me feel like shit I'm last but that's not it I wonder if she'll care For me ever again Waiting for the last time I'm waiting for the right time To see if she will know the things She doesn't say to me
Chorus And I feel the way I feel because I Need you all the time and I Know the things you know but that's just Not enough to make you mine And I won't do anything that it might Compromise this time so It's not enough to make you mine
Get up it's time to die Just guess and don't ask why Lately you just don't try Someday we will fly Higher than the satellites Into a spacial paradise Where up is up and down is down And no one is around (I don’t want to see you crying) (Let’s leave) (The dramatics behind)
"Kay-sarap sariwain ang malayang kahapon, Ang hirap isiping kay-layo ng Noon.."
I was playing my mp3 file of this song "TAMA KA" all over and over when I woke up. Wala lang sarap pakinggan.
I just love B-sides.. And this one from Eraserheads is one of their best B-sides. It's from their album Natin99. It's so ironic that they had this song written before they disbanded. Listen to the lyrics and you do the Math.
Lourd Deveyra's "Word of the Lourd's" videos could really open everyone to the issues of our society. Despite the humorous tone of the videos, it did not fail in imparting the message he wished to send to the viewers.
Here are some of the videos I like and made the most impact on me.
"Word of the Lourd" airs on TV5's Top Ten every Mondays at 11:00PM.
Current LSS. Man in the mirror by Michael Jackson! I am not a Michael Jackson fan but WTF! This song's amazing! So moving and very timely, well for me.. :)
Here's the lyrics: I'm gonna make a change, for once im my life It's gonna feel real good, gonna make a diference Gonna make it right...
As I, turn up the collar on my favorite winter coat This wind is blowing my mind I see the kids in the streets, with not enought to eat Who am I to be blind? Pretending not to see their needs
A summer disregard,a broken bottle top And a one man soul They follow each other on the wind ya' know 'Cause they got nowhere to go That's why I want you to know
I'm starting with the man in the mirror I'm asking him to change his ways And no message could have been any clearer If you wanna make the world a better place (If you wanna make the world a better place) Take a look at yourself, and then make a change (Take a look at yourself, and then make a change) (Na na na, na na na, na na, na nah)
I've been a victim of a selfish kind of love It's time that I realize That there are some with no home, not a nickel to loan Could it be really me, pretending that they're not alone?
A willow deeply scarred, somebody's broken heart And a washed-out dream (Washed-out dream) They follow the pattern of the wind ya' see 'Cause they got no place to be That's why I'm starting with me (Starting with me!)
I'm starting with the man in the mirror (Ooh!) I'm asking him to change his ways (Ooh!) And no message could have been any clearer If you wanna make the world a better place (If you wanna make the world a better place) Take a look at yourself, and then make a change (Take a look at yourself, and then make a change)
I'm starting with the man in the mirror (Ooh!) I'm asking him to change his ways (Change his ways - ooh!) And no message could have been any clearer If you wanna make the world a better place Take a look at yourself and then make that.. (Take a look at yourself and then make that..) CHANGE!
I'm starting with the man in the mirror (Man in the mirror - Oh yeah!) I'm asking him to change his ways (Better change!) No message could have been any clearer (If you wanna make the world a better place)
Somewhere, lost in the wind I'm watching you Sunlight touching your hair And I remember Somehow, we said that we would never stray But somehow we lost our way Promises too often spoken Are easily broken apart
I'm ready this time I know that I'm no longer undecided Don't wanna be A fool wondering what might have been
Trace of forever lingering Drawing me closer to you A new beginning Now I know There is no doubt I understand Just how fragile love can be I can't forget Your mem'ry found me Now I know where I belong
I'm ready this time I know that I'm no longer undecided Don't wanna be a fool wondering What might have been Through every day, into the night With only love to guide us I'm ready to go, coz I've got to know What might have been Let the lovin' decide, I can't run, I can't hide
I want you to know My heart will show that I'm ready this time I know that I'm no longer undecided Don't wanna be, a fool wondering what might have been I've searched everywhere, and nothing compares When we've got love to guide us I'm ready to go, coz I wanna know what might have been I'm wondering what might have been We're gonna find what might have been Oh I wanna know what might have been
In a little while from now, If I'm not feeling any less sour I promised myself to treat myself And visit a nearby tower, And climbing to the top, Will throw myself off In an effort to make it clear to who Ever what it's like when your shattered Left standing in the lurch, at a church Where people 're saying, "My God that's tough, she stood him up! No point in us remaining. May as well go home." As I did on my own, Alone again, naturally
To think that only yesterday, I was cheerful, bright and gay, Looking forward to, but who wouldn't do, The role I was about to play But as if to knock me down, Reality came around And without so much as a mere touch, Cut me into little pieces Leaving me to doubt, All about God and His mercy For if He really does exist Why did He desert me In my hour of need? I truly am indeed, Alone again, naturally
It seems to me that There are more hearts Broken in the world That can't be mended Left unattended What do we do? What do we do?
(instrumental break)
Now looking back over the years, And what ever else that appears I remember I cried when my father died Never wishing to have cried the tears And at sixty-five years old, My mother, God rest her soul, Couldn't understand, why the only man She had ever loved had been taken Leaving her to start with a heart So badly broken Despite encouragement from me No words were ever spoken And when she passed away I cried and cried all day Alone again, naturally Alone again, naturally
Your subtleties They strangle me I can't explain myself at all. And all that wants And all that needs All I don't want to need at all.
The walls start breathing My minds unweaving Maybe it's best you leave me alone. A weight is lifted On this evening I give the final blow.
When darkness turns to light, It ends tonight It ends tonight.
A falling star Least I fall alone. I can't explain what you can't explain. Your finding things that you didn't know I look at you with such disdain
The walls start breathing My minds unweaving Maybe it's best you leave me alone. A weight is lifted On this evening I give the final blow.
When darkness turns to light It ends tonight, It ends tonight. Just a little insight will make this right It's too late to fight It ends tonight, It ends tonight.
Now I'm on my own side It's better than being on your side It's my fault when your blind It's better that I see it through your eyes
All these thoughts locked inside Now you're the first to know
When darkness turns to light It ends tonight, It ends tonight. Just a little insight will make this right It's too late to fight It ends tonight, It ends tonight.
I've been searching for you I heard a cry within my soul I've never had a yearning quite like this before Now that you are walking right through my door
All of my life Where have you been? I wonder if I'll ever see you again And if that day comes I know we could win I wonder if I'll ever see you again
A sacred gift of heaven For better, worse, wherever And I would never let somebody break you down Nor take your crown, never
All of my life Where have you been? I wonder if I'll ever see you again And if that day comes I know we could win I wonder if I'll ever see you again And everytime I've always known That you were there, upon your throne A lonely queen without her king I longed for you, my love forever
All of my life Where have you been? I wonder if I'll ever see you again And if that day comes I know we could win I wonder if I'll ever see you again
All of my life Where have you been? I wonder if I'll ever see you again And if that day comes I know we could win I wonder if I'll ever see you again
All of my life Where have you been? I wonder if I'll ever see you again And if that day comes I know we could win I wonder if I'll ever see you again
I wonder if I'll ever see you again I wonder if I'll ever see you again I wonder if I'll ever see you again I wonder if I'll ever see you again
I wonder if I'll ever see you again I wonder if I'll ever see you again I wonder if I'll ever see you again
